Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall

I know many of you are sad to see summer end, but think about all that fall has to offer! The leaves are changing, apple cider, pumpkins, hay rides, apple picking, corn mazes and just so many activities. This is a great time of year to do family friendly events, especially in or around Rochester. Hear are some things fun fall happenings.

Family Friendly Activities

Power Farms Market: From picking pumpkins to the animal petting zoo, this is a great spot of kids of all ages. http://powersfarmandmarket.com/

Stokoe Farms: Family owned and operated is 1812! They have something new and fun going on almost every weekend. (also a good place to get a Christmas tree) http://stokoefarms.com/

Day trip to Letchworth State Park: Simply beautiful and different trails for every type of hiker.

Wickham Farms: located on Route 250 in Penfield, has a 2 ½ acre corn maze that you can navigate in 30 to 45 minutes – just right for the little ones! The maze usually opens in mid-August. Other fall activities include a jumping pillow, kiddie train ride, mini golf and a u-pick pumpkin patch. Hayrides are offered on weekends.

Haunted Hay Rides of Greater Rochester: Experience the terror of a real life HAUNTED hayride.
